Mercedes / The Three Stars Collection

[This post is a part of the RENNWelt Museum Collection series.]

In the 50s Mercedes-Benz built three of the finest cars in the automotive realm that had ever graced public eyes. These were the beautiful 300SL roadster, the highly renown 300SL Gullwing coupe and the 1 of 2 built 300 SLR Uhlenhaut coupe which was a road-going version of the 300 SLR racecar. At the time in 1955, the Uhlenhaut was the fastest road-legal car in the world capable of hitting maximum velocity near 180 mph.

The Mercedes museum dedicates a small stage to this collection as we may never see another trio from Mercedes quite as incredible as these three.
